Yes. "Eavestrough" is the common Canadian term; "gutter" is the same thing. It's the channel along your roof edge that catches rainwater and snowmelt and directs it to the downspouts.
Instead of pre-cut sections joined every few feet, we run aluminum through a forming machine on-site and create one continuous length for each run of your roof. Fewer joints means far fewer places to leak.
For most Ontario homes, twice a year — once in late fall after the leaves drop, and once in spring. Homes surrounded by mature trees may need it more often, which is where leaf guards pay off.
